Structurally Colored Cholesteric Phases of Cellulose In article number 2205506, Ozge Akbulut, Ahu Gümrah Dumanli, and co-workers describe a 3D printing the hydroxypropyl cellulose (HPC) filaments with two-order hierarchical structures similar to multi-hierarchical arrangement found in nature such as Morpho butterflies. this arrangement, helicoids formed cholesteric phase HPC give rise blue coloration, while angular dependence color is tuned via introduction periodic wrinkles.
